Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

General Description

This position will support Business Lending Group’s (BLG) commercial loan operations groups and serve as a liaison between the Loan Processor, Lender, and Underwriting staff to ensure loans are serviced in an efficient and accurate manner and that member’s expectations are met or exceeded.

 Primary duties will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Servicing BLG’s commercial loan portfolio via its loan servicing system, PCFS 2000.  Servicing functions include, but may not be limited to:
    • Loan boarding
    • Loan post-boarding review
    • Payment and disbursement processing
    • Account maintenance
    • Data entry including, posting payments to Participation Loans
    • Daily file processing and daily billing
    • Report processing
  • Receive and track incoming paper and/or and electronic annual financials via BLG’s Outlook and Intranet systems
  • Log, track, and resolve loan exceptions in Credit Quest, including performance of necessary research and follow-up resolution processes
  • Sort, shift, scan, and file paper and/or electronic credit presentations and loan documents
  • Reformat and email reports to recipients per written procedures
  • Retrieve and print tax bills for escrowed parcels from municipality’s website; assist with escrow shortage letters to customers
  • Assemble and maintain borrower loan files from loan inception through payoff
  • Process and distribute bi-weekly exception reports; Work with lenders to resolve outstanding documentation and collateral exceptions
  • Monitor and execute requests for missing or inadequate documentation in order to resolve exceptions, including the acquiring of annual financial data from BLG customers
  • Process property tax tracking in conjunction with BLG’s external vendor
  • Serve as a back-up for answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling back-up duties for various others in the Operations Department
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned by management

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in an office environment
  • Previous experience working in a commercial lending organization preferred, but not required
  • Experience and knowledge working with Microsoft Office Suite, required

Knowledge of payment processing, preferred
